I can't tell you how much we enjoyed watching Nathan and Melanie enjoy one another on their wedding day. These two were just so into each other that it made our job super easy. We barely had to set them up for shots because they were in their own world most of the time. It really was an honor to watch these two get married. We know that they will have a wonderful future together and we loved celebrating with them.
Let's talk about Melanie's dress; this dress was a labor of love! Melanie's Grandmother made this dress! How beautiful is that?! And really, what an heirloom. We love details like that because we know this will be something handed down through the generations with such an incredible story. Melanie's Grandmother even showed me where she embroidered Nathan and Melanie's names in the hem of the dress. I seriously could have shed a tear right there.
I love Grandmothers!
Nathan and Melanie decided not to see each other until the ceremony, and in the meantime, Nathan showered his bride with multiple gifts! He really was so thoughtful with each gift. By the last gift it was announced that there was no more concealer to fix eye make-up from all the sweet tears.
Both Fathers gave such sweet speeches as they talked about their joy in the union of Nathan and Melanie. It really is one of the best moments in the day when you get to hear and witness such love between the families for their children.
Congratulations, Nathan and Melanie! Thank you for allowing us to share in your special day. We wish and pray for the very best in your future together!!
